在我最美麗的時刻
為這,
我已在佛前求了五百年
求它讓我們結一段塵緣

How to make you meet me
At the most beautiful moment of my life.
For this,
I have been praying before Buddha for five hundred years,
Begging Him to grant us an earthly destiny of meeting you.

佛於是把我化作一棵樹
長在你必經的路旁
陽光下慎重地開滿了花
朵朵都是我前世的盼望

Hence, Buddha turns me into a tree
Growing beside the road that you must pass by and,
On its branches in the sun light, the fully blooming flowers.
Each one of them is an earthly wish of my previous life!

當你走近
請你細聽
那顫抖的葉是我等待的熱情

As you approach,
Please listen.....
Those trembling leaves are my passions awaiting you.

而當你終於無視地走過
在你身後落了一地的
朋友啊! 那不是花瓣
是我凋零的心.

But when you finally pass by, without paying attention,
What've fallen and covered the ground behind you,
My dear friend, ...those … were not flower petals ～ ～
They all came from my withered heart!
